Soha Ali Khan's Mehendi: The Bride Wore Pink

Wedding festivities are in full swing at the Pataudis'. Actress Soha Ali Khan, who is marrying fiance Kunal Khemu on January 25, began celebrations with a mehendi ceremony on the afternoon of January 23.

The actress, seen here with actor Salman Khan's sister Arpita, looked radiant as she posed for the camera showing off her mehendi bedecked hands.

The Rang De Basanti actress wore a pink Ritu Kumar ensemble with gota-work for the function. Soha chose heavy gold jhumkis to match her bright outfit.

Details about Soha's mehendi ensemble were made shared in a statement from designer Ritu Kumar which read, "The ensemble consists of three pieces and is worn one over the other. The inner peshwaz is made of a soft cotton worked with a pastel palette of the lehriya pattern done in a Rajasthan inspired theme with deep borders embellished with chutki gota. An over kurti in pink chanderi yoked with the same gota work will be worn over the peshwaz. A similar jaipuri lehran odhni completes the ensemble, perfect for a day time mehndi."

Soha's sister-in-law, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, was also at the mehendi, looking pretty in a printed suit. Side swept hair, dramatic eye make-up and gold jhumkis finished out her look.

Meanwhile, Soha was given a grand send-off from singledom by her girlfriends - which included actresses Neha Dhupia and Konkona Sen Sharma - who threw her an intimate bachelorette party on January 22.

A sangeet ceremony is reportedly scheduled to take place on the evening of January 24.

Actress Katrina Kaif posed for a photoshoot with visually impaired photographer Bhavesh Patel for a global beauty brand.

The photographs, which bring out the feminine sensuality of the actress, were captured for Lux. A video of the photoshoot was launched on video-sharing website on January 21.

"With every photograph I took, her fragrance formed a vision in my mind," Bhavesh said in a statement.

Bhavesh, born visually impaired, not only has a nose for fragrances and ears to catch sound action, but an acute sense to judge distances between his camera and subjects and how to use new technology for good shot.

On the film front, Katrina will be seen next in Phantom opposite Saif Ali Khan and in Jagga Jasoos with Ranbir Kapoor.

Actress Priyanka Chopra, who mostly sports long tresses, has gone for a short hairdo.

Sporting a black ensemble and red lips, she showed off her new short hairdo with highlights in the photograph.

Her fans have already given her thumbs up for the new look. They have used words like "wow", "beautiful" and "cool" to describe her new hairstyle.

Priyanka had also cut her hair short to play Kiara in the 2010 film Anjaana Anjaani.
