Director Ashutosh Gowariker's mega project Mohenjo Daro that was intially set to release ahead of Republic Day 2016, will now hit the screens in August 2016.
Mohenjo Daro starring Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde was intially set to release on January 22.
The movie, jointly produced by Disney India's Studio business and Ashutosh Gowariker Production Pvt. Ltd. (AGPPL), will now release August 12, 2016, read a statement.
The film depicts a love story set during the Indus Valley civilisation.
This is Ashutosh Gowariker's fourth period film after Lagaan, Jodhaa-Akbar and Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey.
The filmmaker's TV production Everest is currently on air.
