Kapil Sharma has a lot on his plate right now. The comedian is busy with his hit comedy show Comedy Nights with Kapil, shooting for his debut film, and doing stage shows, and now it looks like he wants to add another role to this list.
Recently, there were rumours that Kapil was working on a Punjabi film and setting up his own production house, but he refutes the same, saying, "It was a rumour that I am producing a Punjabi film. I am not. But I plan to produce films in the future. I’d like to produce a Hindi film soon. I was in talks with some people for that, but it’s on hold for now since I’m focusing on my (Hindi) film debut."
Kapil had been signed on by Aditya Chopra’s production house, but the two mutually parted ways earlier this year. The actor then went on to sign a romantic comedy with director duo Abbas-Mustan. And it seems that more film-makers want to work with him.
"Perhaps, people expect variety from me, as I have got offers for action films too. I told them (makers) that if I hit someone, I will end up laughing. I want to do movies that suit my image, for now," he says.
Talking about his shooting experience, the actor says, "I like to work with people I am comfortable with. It becomes tough otherwise. I am enjoying working with Abbas bhai and Mustan bhai as they manage my time well. They know I’m busy with the TV show and other things."

Kapil is looking forward to shooting romantic songs in his debut film too. "We will shoot the songs next month. I am excited about them. Looking at Abbas-Mustan, one can’t imagine that they can be romantic, but they are masters of making their actors look romantic on screen."
